Abstract
My thesis examines the writings of Moishe Rosen, the founder of Jews for Jesus. Specifically, I examine his view of what it means to be a Jew, and what it means to be a good Jew. I do this through Rosen's history, his view of Christianity, his understanding of covenant, his readings of the Apostle Paul, and how he responds to the Jewish objection to his theology. While Rosen's definition of a good Jew is very clear, his understanding of what it means to be a Jew is unclear, as he tries to use multiple, contradictory definitions.
