Abstract
The vocabulary used in defining leadership styles and arranging leadership models varies substantially from one source to another. In this thesis, two styles of leadership (transformational and transactional) leadership are integrated accompanied by the Multi-Dimensional Model of Leadership. Leadership styles aim to clearly describe the behavior of the leader while models looks at the complex interpersonal relationships between leaders and subordinates. Athletic (professional and collegiate) and corporate leadership are discussed within this framework along with the ethical issues that arise with large, global corporations.
