Description
The author discusses the fact that the economic situation in Africa, Latin America, and most of Asia is in recession and their economic structure is suffering, but many North Americans are still unaware of this situation. He also highlights the importance of understanding how these crises came about in order to be able to them come up with solutions to them. Schmidt then discusses the origins of the crisis and how they affected the economy of various countries.
