Abstract
While economists are not that good at forecasting, it is, nevertheless, useful to think about what economics has to say about our future. Are elite colleges pricing themselves out of the market? Will for profit colleges and universities eat our lunch? Will Massive Open On-Line Courses (MOOCs) take over the world? How can we charge $60,000 a year for something MOOCs are giving away for free?
