Abstract
This study attempts to discover if academic performance suffers as a consequence of participation in varsity athletics. In an attempt to obtain conclusive and up to date results, an online survey was distributed to all students at Haverford and Bryn Mawr College students. The survey asked for demographic data as well as sports specific information. Regression analysis of this data was inconclusive for Bryn Mawr students but indicates that some athletes at Haverford do receive slightly lower GPAs.
