Abstract
A core belief in Quakerism is that there is God in all people. This belief has recently been changing to involve all living things. This change in beliefs is how Quakers are internalizing the environmental movement into the faith. At first, people from outside Quakerism were brought in to educate members of the community about the issues with the environment. Now that this process has happened, and is still happening, Quakers have made this topic unique to themselves. Through different Quaker environmental organizations and by looking at the new ways in which to educate the younger generation on this subject, one can see that Quakers have put their unique spin on how they see environmentalism and the ways in which they show their activism.
