Abstract
By comparing the rhetoric of the Nazis and the German Christians to the rhetoric of the Confessing Church and Dietrich Bonhoeffer I discovered that there were two versions of Christian rhetoric that competed with each other, each trying to convince the German people that their version of Christianity was the authentic and true version.
